Mason Jar Box

Mason Jar Box by Tyler S.

Hello everybody, this week we have been working solely on the Mason Jar boxes. These boxes were super simple to create and assemble. Actually, it seemed to take longer for the paint to dry than actually building the boxes.

On this specific box used for this article, we used whitewood, do to the inexpensive cost of the wood. You can obviously any wood that correctly fits your taste. This box is so simple to build! It took me roughly fifteen minutes to build our box. We used one, 1x4x6 piece of whitewood to complete this project. The cut list is as follows:

  • 3 pieces cut to 12 inches.
  • 2 pieces cut to 2.75 inches

That is it for cutting. Pretty simple.

You will also need either glue or nails to hold the box together.

This box is extremely versatile and offers a variety of decorating options. The standard decorating procedure for these boxes calls for mason jars, but let your creative juices flow and make it your own. Have fun with decorating and enjoy a simple, but elegant new piece.
